instruct you as to my will with respect to actions that I consider
should be
undertaken by the Parliament.
Therefore, I am mandating you, to, within twenty eight days of the date
of your receipt of this Mandate, carry out the following:
"Withdraw from
the Goods and Services Tax arrangements with the Commonwealth and
legislate to ensure that future taxation arrangements or imposts of any
kind affecting Queensland first obtain the approval of the people of
Queensland given as the result of a binding referendum of the people of
Queensland."
